DOC Wine Winemaking

The Douro is a mountain viticulture. It is river and altitude, different solar exposure, soils made of granite and schist, steep slopes and a few plateaus, terraces with vines planted in rock. The Douro is also an exquisite terroir for the production of great DOC wines, from a pool of 115 indigenous grape varieties, with impressive potential.

The red wines display aromas of rock-rose, notes of red fruit and forest soil, firm structure and prolonged finish. The white wines show a mineral profile, with contained fruit aromas, firm acidity and remarkable ability to go with any kind of food.
